The line, delivered to Jayshri Propack, is designed for the production of high-barrier shrink bags, including both PVDC and EVOH-based structures, tailored for demanding food packaging applications such as meat and dairy products.
At the core of this project lies KUHNE’s Triple Bubble® technology, which sets new industry standards through its unique three-step biaxial orientation process. By combining rapid vacuum cooling, simultaneous orientation, and thermo-fixation, the technology enables the production of films with exceptional mechanical strength, superior transparency, and outstanding barrier performance—ensuring optimal product protection and extended shelf life.
This advanced solution offers multiple key advantages:
- Outstanding oxygen and moisture barrier, essential for preserving freshness and quality of perishable goods
- Reduced film thickness, allowing material savings while maintaining excellent mechanical performance
- Highly controlled shrink properties, ensuring a perfect fit and premium product presentation
- Crosslinking-free production, enabled by a PET or PA outer layer, improving efficiency and process simplicity
In addition, the line stands out for its versatility. It is capable of producing a wide range of structures on a single platform—from PVDC high-barrier shrink bags to EVOH-based films and even Bone Guard solutions—offering maximum flexibility to adapt to evolving market needs while optimizing investment and production efficiency.
